I couldn't resist showing ya'll what I made for my friend today. I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Hopefully the pictures will upload to Blogger. . .
That's really cute Julie. Any stories of stitching your fingers with the machine while making this? That would really prove that you put all of yourself into this gift!
Sorry, elastic, but no finger stitches this time. I came close, though, since the same child who stomped on the foot pedal last time wanted badly to try it again while I was sewing.
Yesterday I took my 3 year old to get her registered for preschool. One of the questions was about your child's interests and talents. She's three! Her interests are getting into things are her talents are finding amazingly creative ways of getting into things at precicely the wrong moment. Unfortunately, I have about the same level of "talent". There's something genetically wrong with me. Thank you for showing us your skills! I'm jealous (in a happy, supportive way)!

Thanks! I'm very happy with it.
did you overnight it, or is it coming by land...in time for my wife's birthday?

WOW! I have to say I'm impressed. I haven't made anything in years.
So, I know your legs go through the straps, but what's the button for? :-)
