Makes a Mom Proud

Guess what my 2-year-old calls my mom?

Dam-ma.

He definitely takes after me.

Maybe he means like DHARMA? Is your Dad named Greg? Have you been exposing your helpless, innocent child to cheeseball sitcom re-runs?

Elastic: No, we don't watch sitcoms--not even the reruns. And my dad's name is Calvin. Doesn't even sound close to Greg. Nice try, though. This boy calls my dad Drampa.

Compulsive: So far, it's just me, Phil, and T--. A-- is reformed now and always gets mad when he hears me swear. It's very entertaining.

I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!

My older daughter did that, too! She'd call herself a bid doh (big girl), as well. It's so sad when they lose those cute "baby" ways of communicating. You need to get him on video screaming for DAM-MA!!!

Sounds like a bond stronger than blood.

We were at the parade today and after the tossing of candy, my oldest son read one of the Laffy Taffy jokes to my wife. I do not remeber the question that was asked, but it had something to do with stopping the flow of water...without thinking my wife blurted out, "Dam it". I just burst out laughing and my oldest piped up and asked, "What does dam it mean?" We both had a good chuckle.

What did the fish say when it swam into a wall? "Dam."

What did the wall say? "Dumb bass."

Sorry, couldn't resist. This story reminds me of one of your other kids quoting mommy (almost)..."Sit sit sit...." :-)
