Learning Spanish

My second son said this yesterday to his aunt:
"Sometimes my mom wraps me up in a blanket like a burrito, and then I pretend to eat my way out. But I don't know whether a burrito is a food or a bug."
Yo tambien, mi hijo, yo tambien.

Snug as a bug or wrapped like a burrito? There are Latin American cultures that include bugs in their tortillas. So I guess it works both ways.

We use Mexican food references around here all the time too. My husband tells our son that his feet are fat like tamales. Don't even ask me about our copious "churro" jokes. Double EWWWWW!
